Sisters of Comedy - Laughed Again

Benefit Show at the Theater Lindenhof

After the successful first show, which sold out last year, artists from the region will once again perform for women's projects in the area. The Theater Lindenhof provides the stage and the ideal setting for this special evening. Dr. Gundula Schäfer-Vogel, the mayor for order, social affairs, and culture of the university town of Tübingen, will open the evening as the patroness. The evening's hosts, Ida Ott and Birgit Kruckenberg-Link, have put together a diverse program: attendees can look forward to comedy, cabaret, puppet theater, singing, and music. Performers include the Rottenburg singer Regina Greis, accompanied by pianist Ayten Sabety, Sigrun Kilger and Annette Scheibler from the Stuttgart Material Theater ensemble, singer-songwriter Elena Seeger, recipient of the Baden-Württemberg Small Arts Award 2025, as well as Ida Ott and Birgit Link with Conny Reese on piano presenting excerpts from their current programs. The SISTERS OF COMEDY benefit shows will take place on the same day and at the same time across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland on many stages. The proceeds will go to women's aid projects, supporting women in need who certainly have nothing to laugh about. In times when women's rights and freedom of expression must be defended, when the winds from the right are blowing harder worldwide, and when a conservative image of women is being propagated again in Western societies, female artists are taking the offensive: an evening full of humorous diversity. Tickets are available in advance at the Theater Lindenhof. Since the event falls on a Monday, the evening will begin at 7 PM.
