The master babbler and blues poet has been performing professionally on stage for 25 years, having completed over 3,000 performances between Flensburg and Zurich. In addition to his musical-cabaret performances, Arnim Töpel has ventured into writing. Since 2013, he has published a dialect crime novel every year. Whether "De Schorle-Peda," "Mord beim Männerballett," "Grähm Brüllee," or "Voll Fagnoddlt," his Commissioner Günda always investigates in the deepest dialect milieu, preferably in Glickerbach, where real dialect is still spoken. By his side is Fritjof Freese, young, alert, and ambitious, but with a significant handicap: he speaks High German ("Geh mol dange!" – "For what?"). His "Best of Gündales" is presented in three languages: High German, Kurpfälzisch, and musical. Because one thing that cannot be missed at Töpel's readings is his songs on the piano.
