Country Tour Ride Albstadt

For participants of the Country Tour ride, there is a choice of four mountain bike routes ranging from 21 to 98 km in length. Whether it's a Sunday tour or marathon preparation, e-bikes are also welcome. With routes from 21 to 98 kilometers, there is something for everyone. This event is not a bike race, but rather marked routes that can be ridden at a self-chosen speed. Whether for the hobby mountain biker, the Sunday family bike ride, or preparation for the bike marathon, all routes primarily run on paved forest paths. However, mountain bikes or trekking bikes with good tires are recommended. Wearing a helmet is mandatory. E-bikes with appropriate tires and a maximum assistance of up to 25 km/h, commonly known as e-bikes, are also welcome. The well-marked routes offer different elevation profiles, ranging from easy 400 to physically demanding 2100 meters of elevation gain, providing a wide spectrum. To keep the backpack at home, the association offers one to three refreshment stations along the route, depending on the distance, for nourishment. At the start and finish at the festival hall in Lautlingen, the association takes care of the catering for cyclists and guests. Various dishes are available, including schnitzel with potato salad or the obligatory pasta dish, as well as coffee and cake later on. Participants can start from 7:30 AM, but depending on the chosen route, a start is also possible until 2 PM. Towards the end of the event, prizes will be awarded to the three best teams, based on the total kilometers traveled. Each participant supports the Tannheim follow-up clinic with two cents for every kilometer ridden. The Tannheim follow-up clinic gives families with severely chronically ill children new strength and hope. It offers highly qualified treatment for the entire family as part of family-oriented follow-up care for children with cancer, heart disease, or cystic fibrosis.
