Eppingen Christmas Market in the Streets of the Old Town and on the Marketplace

On Saturday, December 6, the city of Eppingen invites you to the Christmas market. From 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, visitors can expect around 40 stalls offering Christmas goods and gifts, as well as various foods and drinks. Important partners in this event include Eppingen clubs and organizations, school classes, and private individuals from Eppingen, who will offer a variety of Christmas items at the market. As for the musical offerings, the program on the stage at the marketplace guarantees changing entertainment. This will be preceded by the official opening at 1:30 PM with Mayor Klaus Holaschke and Pastor Manfred Tschacher in front of the Catholic Church in Eppingen. The musical accompaniment will be provided by the kids from the Eppingen singing club. Further entertainment on stage will be provided by the Eppingen music school, the youth orchestra of the city band Eppingen, the Evangelical brass choir Eppingen, the alphorn players, the choirs from Hartmanni-Gymnasium, as well as the singers from Nachklang and pop singer Christian Engel.

In line with the start of the Eppingen Christmas market, the museum workshop will be adorned in festive colors: For a small fee of €4.00 per person, young visitors aged 6 and up can try their hand at Advent crafting. From 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, decorations for windowsills and Christmas trees can be made at the City and Half-Timbered Museum "Alte Universität." The museum itself will be open to all interested parties from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The Living Advent Calendar also aims to invite and bring people together. From December 1 to 24, daily surprises await visitors at various locations at 6:30 PM. On the evening of the Christmas market, the 6th door will be opened at the marketplace/Rappenauer Straße. The Eppingen city library will also offer open doors and books for the Christmas season in the mornings from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Come by and visit. And nothing is more closely associated with the Advent season than a traditional Christmas nativity scene. Sheep and a donkey will inhabit the "Living Nativity" in Altstadtstraße below the museum during the Christmas market period.

Free Parking on Advent Saturdays

On all Advent Saturdays, you can park for free, both in the centrally located parking garage and in areas that are usually managed with parking tickets in the city center.
