"Old Forge" Leadership in Mühlbach

From Stonemason to Blacksmith - Themed tour through the Eppingen district of Mühlbach, including a visit to the Stonemason Museum. The old forge, located on Mühlbach's main street and built by Melchior Bauer in 1863, perfectly complements the collection of the Stonemason Museum just a few steps away. For the many local stonemasons, the blacksmith was an indispensable partner for forging and sharpening tools, as well as for shoeing horses. The completely preserved and original furnishings provide a good insight into the former working reality of this craft. The tour is only available in combination with the Stonemason Museum Mühlbach. Duration: approximately 60 minutes. Maximum number of participants: 30 people. Information: You are welcome to visit the "Old Forge" and the "Stonemason Museum" in Mühlbach without a guided tour and free admission, open from May to October, Sundays from 2 PM to 4 PM.
