Original Erlenbacher Wine Festival

Original Erlenbacher Wine Festival - sociable and entertaining around the marketplace of the wine-growing community of Erlenbach. The "Original Erlenbacher Wine Festival" takes place annually in August in Erlenbach near Heilbronn. It is one of the most traditional wine festivals in Württemberg. Celebrations occur from Friday to Monday around the Erlenbach Town Hall, nestled between charming half-timbered houses and historic alleys. With lively brass band music - sociable during the day and vibrant in the evening - a very special atmosphere arises.

Program for the Erlenbacher Wine Festival
Spread over two stages and additional locations, a wide-ranging program is offered that is suitable for both young and old:
- Buttenlauf for children & associations | Saturday
- Visit from the Württemberg Wine Queen | Saturday afternoon
- "Grape Children’s Program" | Sunday 1-5 PM, fantastic entertainment for little guests with crafting & face painting
- "Senior Afternoon" | Monday with discounted prices
- Election of the Onion Queen | late Monday evening
With a traditional crown made of parsley and onions, along with a matching scepter, she will be ceremoniously ushered into her term until the next wine festival a year later.

The Special | Onion & Peterling Cakes
120 bakers in historic baking houses cater to the culinary needs. The onion and Peterling cakes are considered crowd pullers. Traditionally, the old baking house is heated with vine wood, which gives the cakes their unique flavor.

Wines & Wineries
At 10 wine tasting stands, over 150 different wines from Kayberg and 14 sparkling wines from local winemakers can be sampled.

Directly on the Württemberg Wine Cycle Path near the Weinsberg motorway junction A6/A81, about 10 minutes/7 km by car from the A81 exit 10 Weinsberg. Car parking spaces along Talstraße | area Sulmtalhalle. Bus parking available at L1101/Käppelesäcker.
