Truffle walk

Experience the fascination of truffles live - a guided tour with a truffle dog through a truffle plantation, including tasting. Discover the allure of truffles - information on the topic and their occurrence, a look through the microscope, a tour of the truffle plantation, tasting of truffled products (e.g., truffle butter), and working with the truffle dog. The insight into the fascination of truffles begins with a small slide presentation in the event room of the Manufaktur für Feines in Beilstein-Etzlenswenden. Michael Mörsel provides exciting information and interesting facts about the special tuber and presents current finds. After the theory, it’s time for practice. It’s only about 500 meters to the truffle area, and you are essentially standing on "truffled ground." During the walk through the truffle plantation, participants experience the (truffle) dog live at work - the search for the mushroom begins. And if everything goes well, participants can also "remontieren" their first own truffle - as the expert calls the process of digging up truffles.
