Johann Strauss Ensemble Saturday Afternoon Concert

For many years, the Johann Strauss Ensemble has performed several times a week from spring to autumn at the Kurhaus during free spa concerts, enriching the cultural life in Bad Krozingen. Under the experienced direction of conductor Tibor Szüts, first violin, the ensemble plays at a high musical level: Zsolt Németh (piano), Edina Luczó (second violin), Markus Lechner (double bass), Alexander Hönig (drums/percussion), Katharina Schröter (flute), and Drew Gilchrist (clarinet). The orchestra's repertoire includes about 700 musical pieces: from Viennese salon music and Hungarian gypsy music to musical melodies and classical operas. The musicians can be heard at free spa concerts, during the Sunday "request concert," and at many other events in Bad Krozingen.
