What makes this market so special is the unique atmosphere that surrounds it: The Klausenhof, an impressive historic monument that had long been left to decay, was preserved in the early 1980s through an unprecedented rescue effort. Today, it welcomes visitors as if its last residents had only just left—with living and working quarters under one roof, the historic Lindau sawmill, a carriage shed, and a blooming cottage garden.  Amid this extraordinary setting, our market stalls invite you to shop and feast: from fresh flowers and lovingly homemade goods to aromatic spices and fragrant bread and rolls, freshly baked in our historic bakery.
