The Bad Krozingen Wine Experience Trail offers varied paths, great panoramic views in all directions, and a wealth of information about wine from Germany's southernmost wine-growing region, the Markgräflerland.
Seven 90 x 90 cm, richly illustrated theme boards provide information on the topics of "Black Forest & Wine," "Biology of Wine," "Vosges & Wine," "Health & Wine," "History & Wine," "Food & Wine," and "Markgräflerland & Wine" at scenic viewpoints and forks in the trail. In addition, small information boards (DIN A3) between the vines provide insight into the respective wine varieties such as Pinot Blanc, Gutedel, Pinot Noir, etc.
Four local winegrowers present a selection of their wines during the culinary wine hike. A small appetizer, a hearty main course, spicy cheese, and something sweet to accompany the Pinot Noir are served.
