Once a month, the Besenwirtschaft (wine tavern) opens its doors and invites guests to enjoy the wines and a variety of traditional dishes on-site. In addition to classic Besen dishes such as meat platter, sausages, and sauerkraut, there are steaks, schnitzels, Maultaschen (German pasta pockets), potato salad, and Spätzle (egg noodles). Beautifully decorated snack plates and cheese specialties are also part of the offering. In summer, the cozy garden tavern is open, and the menu is complemented with light fish dishes and fresh summer salads. After a hike in the Himmelreich, a visit or an evening with friends is tempting.
