Karlsruhe Christmas Market 2025

The Karlsruhe Christmas Market has a long tradition and delights numerous visitors every year. With a festive atmosphere in the marketplace and Friedrichsplatz, the city center transforms into a winter wonderland. The Karlsruhe Christmas Market invites you to discover and enjoy from November 24 to December 23, 2025, in the heart of the city – at the marketplace, Friedrichsplatz, and the children's area at St. Stephen's Church square. At the Light Christmas event on the marketplace, visitors can expect a special program around the pyramid with lovingly decorated stalls. In the communal huts on the marketplace, various artisans present their handmade offerings. The festively decorated gabled houses in the romantic Forest Christmas at Friedrichsplatz tempt visitors with hearty and sweet specialties from around the world. The covered seating areas of the "Karls-Ruhe-Plätzles" invite you to linger comfortably. The Ferris wheel offers a wonderful view of the Christmas city of Karlsruhe from the enclosed gondolas, even in wind and weather, high above the rooftops of the city. All gondolas are wheelchair accessible. The Flying Santa Claus Every day, tightrope artist Falko Traber, also known as the "Flying Santa Claus," glides through the air at 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM with his reindeer sleigh over the marketplace.
