Museum opening - Stellwerk West - Dates 2026

Opening of the "Stellwerk West" cultural monument by the Eppingen Local History Society The "Stellwerk West" cultural monument dates back to 1879 and was in service for more than a century. Today, it is a railway engineering monument. The mechanical signal box's equipment is still completely intact: from the switch operator to the lock box to the block signaling system. ### Dates for 2026: Stellwerk West can be visited – without a guided tour – free of charge from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the following Sundays: - May 3, 2026  - June 7, 2026 - July 5, 2026 - August 2, 2026 - September 6, 2026 - October 4, 2026 (Open on the first Sunday of each month from May to October)
