Opening of the cultural monument "Stellwerk West" by the Heimatfreunde Eppingen The cultural monument "Stellwerk West" dates back to 1879 and was in service for more than a century. Today, it is a railway technical monument. The facilities of the mechanical signal box are still completely intact: from the switch operator to the locking box to the block locking mechanism. Dates for 2026: The Stellwerk West can be visited - without a guided tour - with free admission, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on the following Sundays: May 3, 2026 June 7, 2026 July 5, 2026 August 2, 2026 September 6, 2026 October 4, 2026 (Open on the first Sunday of the months from May to October)
