Museum opening - Richen Farming Museum - Dates for 2026

Discover insights into the rural past at the Richen Farm Museum. The museum is located in the village’s former bull barn, a half-timbered building from the first half of the 18th century that once belonged to Prince Leiningen and originally served as a wine press. The carefully furnished kitchen, living room, and bedroom, as well as the entire utility area and the cider cellar, give visitors a vivid impression of rural life and work in pre-industrial times. The building itself is also an architectural gem due to its rare roof construction featuring a suspended truss and is a listed historic building. **Opening dates for 2026:** Open every first Sunday of the month from May through October, 2:00–4:00 p.m.: May 3, 2026 | June 7, 2026 | July 5, 2026 | August 2, 2026 | September 6, 2026 | October 4, 2026 Additional dates available upon request.
