Passing through the renowned Riesling vineyards "Pulvermächer" and "Brotwasser," we arrive at YBurg, the landmark of the municipality of Kernen i.R. (Weinsüden wine village). You’ll start with wine tour guide Alexandra Neugebauer in the castle courtyard. At the wine bar, you’ll enjoy a glass of sparkling wine before heading up the castle steps into the vineyards. A genuine museum vineyard with old grape varieties—whose names are hardly known today—will show you how grapes were cultivated in days gone by. During your vineyard tour, you’ll taste 5 different wines from local winemaking families. As a master pastry chef, Alexandra Neugebauer naturally always brings along freshly baked treats to pair with the wine.
