Wine enthusiasts can look forward to the Weinsberg Wine Hike every October. Regional wines and delicacies invite participants to taste along a roughly 6-kilometer tour with panoramic views along the Wine and Rose Trail. Selected wines and sparkling wines from the Weinsberg wineries, coffee and cake, hearty dishes, and small treats can be enjoyed amidst the vineyards and in the most beautiful panoramic locations – that’s what the Weinsberg Wine Hike is all about. A total of 15 tasting stations featuring wine and food are located at Schemelsberg and Burgberg around the ruins of Weibertreu Castle on the Wine and Rose Trail. Depending on one’s mood, the wine hike can be designed to cover between two to six kilometers. The wine hike begins at Grasiger Hag or at the entrance to the climbing park (Heilbronner Straße). The tour can be customized and flexibly arranged with detours to the ruins of Weibertreu Castle and the forest climbing park.

At Weibertreu Castle, there is a great program for both young and old. Opening hours: Saturday from 1 PM to 6 PM, Sunday from 11 AM to 6 PM.

Planning takes too much time
Too expensive
Ich finde eigentlich immer etwas
Something else
