Open-air theater in the castle courtyard: Macbeth

Open-air theater in the courtyard of Hohenzollern Castle. Traditionally Shakespeare, traditionally in the original English language. This year: **_Macbeth_**. As part of their Castle Tour, the [American Drama Group](http://www.adg-europe.com/) will once again be performing at Hohenzollern Castle this year. On Thursday, July 2, 2026, the actors will perform "**_Macbeth_**," a classic play by William Shakespeare, in the castle courtyard – and, as always, in the original English language. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and the performance begins at 7:00 p.m. The play will be performed twice, each lasting 45 minutes. During the 15-minute intermission, the castle restaurant will serve refreshments in the castle garden. The shuttle bus between the parking lot and the castle entrance gate will be in service before and after the theater. Tickets are available directly from the bus driver.
