Royal Winter Magic

With enchanting illuminations, elaborate decorations, and a festive program, Hohenzollern Castle awaits visitors for the Royal Winter Magic from November 21, 2025, to January 6, 2026. The Royal Winter Magic is not a Christmas market, but an intricately designed special exhibition. Instead of the charm of stalls and crowds, it offers a Christmas atmosphere in a historic setting. In the Count's Hall, visitors will find a twelve-meter-long table with imperial service, flanked by a seven-meter-high Christmas tree. The other rooms, which visitors can explore at their leisure, will also be beautifully decorated. As dusk falls, the illuminations on the facades in the castle courtyard begin. The court juggler sends soap bubbles into the night sky. Now and then, Saint Nicholas makes an appearance as well. The castle restaurant delights guests with winter specialties, and in the castle garden, small groups can be served in themed huts. Additionally, coffee and cake are available on a donation basis at Café Kira on the third floor. Tickets for the Winter Magic can be purchased in a limited number per day through the online ticket portal at www.burg-hohenzollern.com. The tickets also include fees for parking and for the shuttle bus that runs between the parking lot and the castle entrance gate. Tickets at the box office are only available subject to availability. It is recommended to arrive with an online ticket.
