### **Bretten Wine Market with Sunday shopping** From September 24 to 28, 2026, the Wine Market invites you to enjoy and discover the city center of Bretten. Numerous wineries and winegrowers' cooperatives from Kraichgau, Stromberg, Heuchelberg, and Zabergäu invite you to enjoy a delightful weekend at Bretten Market Square, where they will present their exquisite wines for tasting. At the wine tasting stands, in the arbor, or on the cozy outdoor seating area, visitors can enjoy not only a large selection of fine wines, but also matching culinary delicacies. One of the highlights of this year's program is undoubtedly the Buttenmarsch parade on Sunday, which winds its way through Bretten's pedestrian zone with music and good cheer. Afterwards, the grape pressing event on stage invites young and old alike to experience first-hand how fresh grape juice is made. As in previous years, the wine market is committed to sustainability: only purchase glasses are offered for tasting at a price of €3; there is no deposit refund. Visitors are also welcome to bring their own glasses, provided they have a calibration mark of 0.1 and/or 0.25 liters. ### **Food & shopping experience** Bretten's diverse gastronomy and individual food stands offer all kinds of culinary delicacies and are happy to cater to visitors' small and large appetites. On Sunday, in addition to visiting the wine market, you can also look forward to a relaxed shopping experience without any time pressure.
