About the content: A marginal note in the Südkurier recently reported that an old wolf had crossed the Swiss border at Ramsen (illegally!) during the night and was now roaming the Schienerberg. Exactly where the church choir "St. Cäcilia Marter" wants to hold its beautiful and sociable choir weekend at the remote country school, just like always with delicious food and drinks and a bit of singing. The new choir director Dr. Anselm Severin, however, has grand plans for the small, rather mediocre choir. He wants to extract everything possible and make a career out of it. But what good is the best plan if no one is on board? Maria, who was in love with the formerly highly esteemed choir director, the chain-smoking Jutta, the glass-loving Gustav, and his overly concerned wife Elisabeth, as well as the self-assured bass-baritone Herbert, do not want to change their habits. The attempts at rapprochement by Verena, the newcomer in the soprano section, add to the choir director's troubles. When Dr. Severin learns that the next concert is to be broadcast nationwide on the radio, he tries to salvage what can be salvaged with strictness and discipline, even if it means making all sorts of rearrangements. But he has miscalculated with his choir members. They know exactly what they want and what they don't. And what about the wolf? Has it moved on? Or is it just a rumor...?
