Public Winter Tour

November 3, 2025 to March 27, 2026, Tuesday to Thursday, admission from 2:00 PM, start of the tour at 2:15 PM (ending at 3:00 PM). After entering the exhibition "Traces of the Pile Dwellers" in our New Museum by the lake, you will participate in a guided tour lasting approximately 45 minutes through the reconstructed pile dwellings of the Stone and Bronze Ages. On wooden walkways, our guides will lead you into the authentically furnished wooden houses on the water, where you will learn everything important about life back then: Why pile dwellings? What did people in the Stone Age eat? What did they look like? Was there chewing gum 6,000 years ago? These and other exciting topics await you. Questions are welcome! No registration is required for a "public winter tour" – just come by the museum ticket office after 2:00 PM.
