Oberlehen, Resenhofweg 2, 79872 Bernau im Schwarzwald
A meeting point for connoisseurs and people who enjoy buying regional products directly from Black Forest farmers and artisans. More than 30 market and information stalls will be showcased around the Holzschneflermuseum Resenhof. On August 15th and 16th, 2026, the over 220-year-old Resenhof in Bernau will once again be the center of the Nature Park Market and Holzschneflertage. Discover unique Black Forest products while strolling through the Nature Park Market, where a lot of craftsmanship, passion, and local ingredients are involved. More than 20 producers will bring specialties from cheese making, fine herbs, sausages, bread, fine spirits and liqueurs, juices, honey & jams, slush ice, fruits, and many other treats. Soaps made with donkey milk and valuable oils, honey cosmetics, sheepskins, products made from alpaca wool, sewn items, beautiful and useful wooden products, as well as ceramics will enrich the market. Experience tips and interesting information will be provided by the Black Forest Association, the Southern Black Forest Nature Park, the Black Forest Herbal Women, and the Black Forest Biosphere Area. With the bog expert, you can discover sundew and crayfish. Special offers include a small enclosure with alpacas, making fresh herb salt, or practicing spinning and weaving. In parallel to the Nature Park Market, the Holzschneflertage will also take place from 11 AM to 5 PM at the Resenhof and in the Forum Erlebnis:holz. The over 220-year-old farm will transform into an experiential museum for almost forgotten craft techniques, while the Forum will showcase contemporary Bernau art and woodworking with its products. Be amazed during the tour of the Resenhof at how much craftsmanship and skill the farmers once used to create their everyday items - for example, a planer maker, a lace maker, and a traditional costume embroiderer will be present. Further information will follow.
