Museum Opening - Church Museum "Testimonies of Popular Religious Belief" - Dates 2025

The church museum, located right next to the Catholic parish church, showcases evidence of religion and faith in the heart of the old town. Directly adjacent to the Catholic parish church "Our Lady," the church museum features artifacts of popular religious belief. The extensive collection of Friedbert Andernach and Pastor Dr. Wolfgang Baunach illustrates how religion and faith were practiced and lived in the past. In addition to a wealth of cult objects such as votive tablets, reverse glass paintings, arm crosses, and much more, there are also many items that represent not only the Catholic tradition but also Protestant and Jewish faith. Opening hours for 2025: Every 1st and 3rd Sunday from May 4 to October 5, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
