Presence of the Past - Classic Tour

Highlights of Constance: During the classic tour of the largest city in the Four Country Region, (almost) all the sights in the historic center are visited. Participants will also learn more about the significant history of this beauty by Lake Constance... Informative, historical, popular: The classic tour of the old town is the "hit" among the guided tours. From the Council and the Imperia to the Cathedral and the picturesque alleys of the Niederburg, participants will get to know (almost) all the attractions of the city center. TIP: The lively journey through time from the Middle Ages to today is offered in various languages – just inquire and discover the diversity of the largest city on Lake Constance.

Tours are offered in English on Saturdays at 11:30 AM from June to September.
Tours can be booked for groups year-round at any date, also in English, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Danish, Japanese & Chinese.

Accessibility
The tour is accessible and can be done with a wheelchair, walker, or stroller. Please inform us when registering. The accompanying person of individuals with disabilities marked with a "B" in their ID can participate in the tour for free. In connection with city tours, electric mobility scooters can be used free of charge.

Tip: Also available as a "slower version," with a shortened route and duration.

Dogs
Dogs are allowed as long as they do not disturb the tour. There is a continuous leash requirement. Guide and assistance dogs can be brought at any time.

Cancellation / Exclusion from the City Tour
A city tour can be terminated by the responsible person, or individual participants can be excluded from the tour if they behave inappropriately or disturb other participants (e.g., insults).
