The flags for the exhibition "beweht - bewegt" by Eberhard Freudenreich can be viewed on Altstadtstraße. The 29th Artist Flag Festival "beweht - bewegt" takes place from July 10 to October 5 in the historic old town and at the City and Half-Timbered Museum "Alte Universität." The line is the central element in Eberhard Freudenreich's artistic work. Time and again, he explores the possibilities of line formation in space and surface. In folding, the line becomes an edge, a plastic form in space, and grows as a three-dimensional, organic shape upwards. The colorful linocuts play with a soft line image, transforming into surfaces, whirlpools, and continuously forming new playful shapes. The exhibition "beweht – bewegt" demonstrates how lines and surfaces are set in motion, evolving into a summery play of colors. In the "Alte Universität" museum, however, rigid paper objects grow into the space and connect into ever-new forms as an organic sculpture. The exhibition runs until October 5, 2025, and can be experienced during the regular opening hours of the City and Half-Timbered Museum "Alte Universität": Tuesday to Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Admission is free! Guided tours and visitor groups by appointment. Exhibition openings are every Thursday at 6:00 PM - you are warmly invited!
