Guided E-Bike Panorama Tour on Lake Überlingen

Enjoy stunning views and beautiful natural landscapes on the guided e-bike panorama tour around Lake Überlingen. Look forward to a truly unique nature experience: together with tour guide Uwe Schröder, you’ll explore the beautiful Lake Constance region by e-bike over a distance of approximately 45 kilometers (duration: 4–5 hours). In addition to several (photo) breaks, a stop for refreshments is planned, where you can treat yourself to regional delicacies. Participants are responsible for covering the cost of their own meals. To enjoy the day to the fullest, please bring your e-bike with a fully charged battery, some riding experience, a bike helmet if possible, and plenty of drinks for the ride. _________ The vast majority of tourists who travel by bike ride the route between Überlingen and Ludwigshafen right along the lake, on the Lake Constance Bike Path. Although you ride almost directly along the water here, this route is heavily influenced by the federal highway and the railroad tracks. Many people are unaware that this section can also be cycled at higher elevations. Of course, this route is longer and involves climbing quite a few meters in elevation. However, these efforts are rewarded with numerous, sometimes breathtaking views of Lake Überlingen. The tour begins in the eastern part of the city and immediately leads to two beautiful viewpoints in Rauenstein Park and near St. Leonhard. After crossing the city and passing through the Feigental valley, Aufkirch also offers a great view. The route continues over the Hödinger Berg to Zimmerwiese and Haldenhof; after the descent that follows, the tour reaches the halfway point in Ludwigshafen, where a break is taken. The subsequent return trip to Überlingen also offers several great views, including one of the village of Sipplingen. At the various stops, there will be opportunities for explanations and to share experiences. Based on past experience, this tour is only suitable for sturdy e-bikes, and participants should also have some riding experience, as some sections are quite steep.
