Even though he no longer performs on stage himself, his fans will have a blast celebrating all his hits and catchy tunes. “Wahnsinn – Die Show 2026” not only features plenty of Wolfgang Petry hits but is also a breathtaking journey through time that brings back to life moving moments, entertaining stories, and personal anecdotes from Wolfgang Petry’s career. The show, which will take place for the fifth time in 2026, focuses on the music and original songs of this Schlager icon and celebrates the big Wolfgang Petry birthday party in 2026—featuring all his hits like “Verlieben, verloren, vergessen, verzeihen,” “Der Himmel brennt,” and, of course, “Wahnsinn.” Over 150,000 visitors have seen the show since the first tour in 2022 and are thrilled. Chronologically, the production picks up where Wolfgang Petry’s legendary final concert of his acclaimed “Einfach Geil” tour from 1999 left off and, through video footage from that era, catapults the audience back to the spirit of life from 20 years ago at the speed of light: Feel that energy once more, celebrate all those hits once more as if there were no tomorrow.
