The number one Pink Floyd tribute band is coming to Germany for ten shows in October 2025 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of "Wish You Were Here," including one performance in Heilbronn. Since 2011, Brit Floyd has played over 1,000 concerts worldwide, performing in venues such as the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, and Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan, showcasing the musical works of the British rock band Pink Floyd. After tours for "The Dark Side Of The Moon" in 2023 and "The Division Bell" in 2024, the band led by singer and guitarist Damian Darlington is now focusing on the classic album "Wish You Were Here." When looking at the most successful years of Pink Floyd, "Wish You Were Here" stands somewhat at the center between "The Dark Side Of The Moon" (1973) and "The Wall," released in 1979, both of which are undoubtedly among the most important albums of the 1970s. Even today, Pink Floyd is still considered one of the most important and successful bands in progressive rock, with "Wish You Were Here" being a milestone in their career. To mark the 50th anniversary of the album released in 1975, the tribute band will present the album in its entirety and also perform some of the band's classics. Accompanied by an impressive laser and light show as well as theatrical staging, the two-and-a-half-hour concert will become a multidimensional spectacle that pays tribute to the musical legacy of Pink Floyd in every way.
