Guided tour of the exhibition "Images of Lost Time". Graphics by Jan Peter Thorbecke with poems by Christine Zureich.

In the exhibition "Images of Lost Time," a representative selection of graphics by the artist Jan Peter Thorbecke is combined with poems by the writer Christine Zureich. The representations are inspired by photographs found in German photo albums from the 1950s and 60s. They are vague memory images of family celebrations and outings. Behind the depiction of a perfect world lurks something uncanny. The poet Christine Zureich, who lives in Constance, has responded to Thorbecke's graphics. Her concise poems initially appear as small, playful notes at the edge of the album. However, upon closer inspection, the haikus reveal a deeper layer. Dr. Yvonne Istas introduces the artist and the poet and provides insight into the presentation.
