Guided tour through the "albgut" with the Alb Guide

The Albgut site was formerly known as the "Old Barracks" in the former Münsingen military training area. It has since become a private property and is undergoing a fundamental transformation, moving away from military use towards a flagship project within the model region of the Swabian Jura Biosphere Reserve. Here, sustainable economic practices are made tangible through transparent manufacturing facilities, gastronomic offerings featuring regional products, and museums. All tours include an interior visit to the hospital. The project is continuously being developed. It offers accommodation options during events on the site and is largely car-free. In collaboration with the owner, the Alb-Guides offer tours of the Albgut site every Sunday from April to October. Group bookings for a personal appointment: 120 euros/group, booking directly with the desired guide (see dates). The AlbCard is only accepted for fixed tours and is not valid for individual group bookings.
