Markus Manfred Jung & Uli Führe - Heavenly Entertainment Alemannic Songs, Stories, and Poems by and with Uli Führe and Markus Manfred Jung Friday: October 10, 2025, 8 PM Uli Führe and Markus Manfred Jung have been indispensable in the Alemannic scene since they both won a 1st prize in the "Young Dialect" competition in 1976. Führe has earned an excellent reputation as a songwriter. Among other accolades, he received the Small Arts Prize of Baden-Württemberg. He lives as a composer, singer, vocal coach, and musician in Buchenbach-Unteribental. Jung's dialect poetry has since been awarded numerous prizes, including international ones in Italy and Romania. His poems have been translated into several languages. He is a writer and lives with the painter Bettina Bohn in Kleines Wiesental. The CD "IKARUS," on which Führe has uniquely and excitingly set Jung's poetry to music, sensationally received the "Annual Prize of the German Record Critics." The last joint CD production is titled "fedreliicht."
