Ganes - Live!

The Ladin folk-pop band Ganes is performing with their eighth studio album "Vives." "Vives" comes from the Latin "vivus" and means: "You shall live!" It is a call to the listeners to be full of life. At the same time, you get an insight into Ladin culture and the Alpine landscape. The distinctive sound of "VIVES" combines rustic tones with fine nuances: Mariachi trumpets meet guitars, violins, yodeling, and lamenting melodies. This results in a musical style that is both tradition-conscious and surprising. The songs tell of village life, customs, old stories, and the wisdom of past generations – with a wink, a touch of irony, and a lot of heart. Inspired by the historic center of La Val – a place where culture and history are palpable – "VIVES" creates a musical bridge between the past and the present. The compositions invite you to celebrate, remember, and pause – as a sonorous companion through life.
