Within this Portuguese musical tradition, they evoke a sense of home through lively, versatile, and innovative forms of expression. Thus, the fado is sometimes given a jazzy backdrop and modern arrangements. In doing so, they travel between their homelands of Portugal and Germany, weaving together different soundscapes.
