The term "near-death experience" was coined by Raymond Moody to describe experiences of spontaneous expansions of consciousness. The lecture aims to provide an initial approach to the topic and engage people in conversation about it. What are near-death experiences? Fifty years ago, the term "near-death experience" was introduced by the American psychiatrist Raymond Moody to describe experiences of spontaneously occurring profound expansions of consciousness. These typically occur in proximity to death, but also in psychological emergencies, during meditation, or entirely without any apparent cause. The lecture will discuss the most commonly occurring elements in near-death experiences, such as awareness outside the body, tunnel experience, life review, encounters with deceased individuals and angels, and the return. The integration of the new experience into one's previous life will also be addressed. The lecture aims to provide an initial approach to the topic and engage people in conversation about it. Claus Speer, born in Heilbronn in 1945, has been interested in boundary questions since he was a young adult. He has been following near-death research since its inception in 1975. As a member of the Near-Death Experience Network, he is familiar with many firsthand accounts. Course No.: 25220 A cooperative event.
