Wellness in days gone by... – a journey through the history of Wangen – guided tour

On this tour, you will learn what wellness meant in the Middle Ages and what rare treasures are hidden in the individual museums of Wangen's museum landscape. Meeting point: Tourist Information Office, Bindstr. 10. The museums are strung together like pearls on a string. They stretch from the City Museum in the Eselmühle along the walkable battlement of the old city wall to the Pulverturm and the old bathhouse. The exciting journey of discovery and time travel begins in the City Museum with a tour of the old Eselmühle, which has many interesting stories to tell about its former owner, Maria Neff. Not only is the view from the battlement onto the picturesque old town unique, but so is the concluding visit to the original bathhouse from 1589, where there are many historical treasures to discover. This guided tour costs €2.50 per person for museum admission. Payment is made on site at the museum ticket office. This tour is also available for groups on request.
