Here, you will find lovingly crafted nativity scenes that are not only unique in their craftsmanship but also create a special atmosphere where the Christmas story comes to life.

At the center are intricately designed nativity scenes, painstakingly handcrafted by Albert Mauz. Whether it’s a traditional farmer's nativity or an oriental-inspired setting – each depiction tells its own story and impresses with its loving detail and authenticity. The figures used come from South Tyrol, where they are carved from wood by skilled artisans and carefully hand-painted.

A special highlight of the collection is the sheep figures, which are over 150 years old. Each nativity scene is a one-of-a-kind piece – created with great dedication, professional skill, and a fine sense of the spiritual significance of the Christmas season.

The Nativity Workshop is not a commercial exhibition space, but a place where traditional craftsmanship is nurtured and passed on. Admission is free. Donations are welcome and support the preservation and continuation of this special craft.
