Deutsche Zentrale für Tourismus e.V.
In the historic roof space of the Münsingen tithe barn, numerous exhibitions in the field of art and culture have been presented in the past. The city of Münsingen has set itself the goal of revitalizing the premises and making the exhibition spaces available to artists from the region. Additionally, the cultural office will showcase its own exhibitions.
Current exhibition: ALBWEITBLICK - 4 Art Locations, Diverse Perspectives
September 14 to October 26
Initiated by the cultural office of Münsingen, the exhibition project ALBWEITBLICK focuses on the seemingly inexhaustible theme of NATURE in the Swabian Jura, which is artistically explored from very different perspectives by the participating institutions. New viewpoints, perspectives, and surprising insights are to be expected.
Exhibition in the tithe barn
In the tithe barn, the cultural office presents an exhibition featuring the artists Eva Doelker-Heim, Angela Flaig, and Gert Wiedmaier. The exhibited works reflect the relationship between humans and nature. Objects made from plant seeds, patiently collected and geometrically arranged. Documents of sensitive, quiet nature conversations, as well as photo wax works, serve as mirrors of captured peculiarities.
Exhibition at the Anton Geiselhart Foundation, Gundelfingen
The artist Ulrike Donié looks "under the surface" in Gundelfingen and dives into fictional, color-rich worlds. Perhaps beneath the surface of the seawater that covered the hilly landscape of the Swabian Jura during the Jurassic period. She sketches scenarios that seem familiar but cannot be placed. Mysterious forms guide our associations. Her pictorial worlds appear to be in constant motion; sometimes with a wide view, at other times an impenetrable organic thicket. A shift in painting between individual organisms and the collective as a natural connection, surrounded by sprawling objects that contrast decay and destruction through their choice of materials.

Exhibition at the Living Museum Alb, Buttenhausen
An inclusive exhibition showcases works by Anika Hellstern, Jochen Hofhansel, Roland Kappel, Christoph Menschel, Leonie Mysliwetz, and Klaus Rexin. The exhibition features detailed works on the theme of humans and nature, inspired by personal experiences; gentle colors, rhythmic forms as expressions of life and change, as well as the interaction between art and nature. The performance Air/Roots explores the simultaneous desire to be able to fly and to take root. Participating artists include Lilly Linsbauer, Viola Schöndorf, Regine Weimar, and Johannes Zens. Artistic accompaniment: Michael Lange.

Exhibition at the Cultural Workshop BT24, Münsingen Albgut
In the Cultural Workshop BT24, the smallest and often unnoticed elements of living or non-living nature are the focus. Rock formations, lichens, fungi, growth processes, and soils and sands may seem inconspicuous, but they persistently change in recurring cycles and create far-reaching transformations, referencing our past and hinting at the future. The exhibition section in the Cultural Workshop BT24 offers exciting impulses for reflection, research, experimentation, artistic work, and indeed, WIDE VIEWS. Participating artists include Edgar Braig, Ulrich Koch, Sara Pütter, Dieter Seemann, Renate Vetter, and Uwe Bürkle, who will build a sand sculpture. Concept: Edith Koschwitz.
