Documenting all the oceans of our Earth was the ambitious goal of underwater photographer David Hettich: He dove with hundreds of hammerhead sharks in the Pacific, swam in massive jellyfish swarms, photographed saltwater crocodiles underwater, and encountered hunting orcas up close. The photographer and filmmaker now shares his most spectacular adventures beneath the surface: The audience experiences the migration of whales from Antarctica to the South Seas, the largest crab migration on the planet, dolphin families, and sharks in the wild, as well as many other insights into the mysterious world of the oceans. His extensive travels have taken David Hettich around the globe: He traveled to the North and South Poles, filmed in the Kingdom of Tonga, Micronesia, the Bahamas, the Galapagos Islands, and the legendary Christmas Island. Hettich's schedule is dictated by the great animal migrations in the ocean – for example, the Sardine Run in South Africa, where seabirds, sharks, and whales hunt kilometer-long schools of sardines. From the smallest seahorses on Earth to the largest fish in the ocean, the audience experiences David Hettich's greatest adventures on the big screen once again.
