Rohrbach Christmas Market

This year, the Rohrbach Christmas Market opens its doors to visitors from near and far with a variety of stalls. On Saturday, the Christmas Market kicks off at 11:00 AM with a festive start: The KiTa Regenbogen, the Rohrbach Music Association, the Men's Choir 1860 Rohrbach, and the Becker Choir come together to create a warm atmosphere. While the focus on the outdoor area is on the culinary delights for visitors, where around 25 stalls offer delicious and hearty food, inside the hall there are over 40 stalls featuring everything from hand-knitted socks, Christmas wreaths and arrangements, tablecloths, table decorations, dishes, dolls, jewelry, strong schnapps, and light liqueurs to scroll saw work and handicrafts, making the Rohrbach Christmas Market so appealing. At 12:00 PM, the elementary school students from the Pestalozzi School take over and fill the square with Christmas songs. The musical program continues in the afternoon: At 3:00 PM, the Accordion Friends Rohrbach perform, followed by the student choir of the community school Rohrbach at 4:00 PM. A special highlight awaits at 5:00 PM when St. Nicholas surprises the little visitors. On Sunday, guests can expect a lovingly designed program as well. At 4:00 PM, the children's group from the Kneipp Association presents a cheerful performance, before St. Nicholas makes another appearance at 5:00 PM. Around 6:30 PM, the exciting drawing of the raffle prizes takes place. After that, the Rohrbach Music Association will provide a melodious conclusion to the evening starting at 7:00 PM. Finally, the Christmas Market closes its gates at 8:00 PM – traditionally accompanied by a sea of sparklers that illuminate the square in warm, sparkling light.
