Visit to the historic council chamber with explanations about the carvings and artworks. The late Gothic council chamber features magnificent carvings by Jakob Russ, depicting, among other things, the estates of the "Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation," to which Überlingen belonged as a Free Imperial City. The council chamber is still used today as a meeting room! Therefore, there may be cancellations of the tour.
