Old German Christmas Market in Bad Wimpfen

Bad Wimpfen invites you to its Christmas market in the historic old town on the first three weekends of Advent – one of the oldest in Germany. #### **Tradition, historic backdrop and much more** On the first three weekends of Advent, the sweet smell of baked apples, mulled wine, pine branches, and gingerbread in Bad Wimpfen reminds us that Christmas Eve is not far away. The listed old town, with the unique atmosphere of the Staufer castle complex, is once again the setting for its Old German Christmas market, which is famous far beyond the state borders. Over 100 stalls and booths offer all kinds of sweets and, above all, handicrafts. The supporting program offers further highlights for visitors of all ages. Among other things, there are night watchman tours and small gifts from the Christ Child and St. Nicholas. Another attraction at the Old German Christmas Market is the gourmet village in the Wormser Hof. There, visitors can look forward to culinary delicacies. Visitors can bring their own cups or purchase them at the market. On Saturdays and Sundays, a shuttle bus is available for €1 per person. - Free parking spaces for buses are available at the Seegarten bus parking lot.
