Ewig Schick & Scharnagl

The love for traditional brass music brings enthusiastic brass musicians to the BDB Music Academy in Staufen twice a year. Under the direction of Berthold Schick (baritone) and Martin Scharnagl (Viera Blech), the musicians rehearse lively marches, captivating polkas, and catchy waltzes in the course orchestra. Moreover, they present their repertoire at a public concert conducted by Berthold Schick and Martin Scharnagl at the Kurhaus Bad Krozingen. It goes without saying that compositions by Martin Scharnagl, which shape the unmistakable sound of his ensemble Viera Blech, will also be featured in the program. The well-known polka "Von Freund zu Freund" by Martin Scharnagl will certainly be included, as its title sets the motto for the collective music-making in the course orchestra. The enthusiasm of the musicians and their two conductors is sure to resonate with the audience at the Kurhaus.
