"Cultural Monument Frankeburg" – the second oldest half-timbered house in Eppingen

The Steingasse is an old pathway connecting the Old Town Street down to the medieval gardens in front of the city wall. Today, the alley leads through the train station meadows along the half-timbered path to the train station. Those coming from the train station cannot miss the crooked half-timbered house at Steingasse 4. It was built in 1457, making it the second oldest half-timbered house in Eppingen. The building is now fully furnished, and you can experience the living and lifestyle of a medieval town there.

The "Frankeburg" is open for visits on the first Sunday of the months from March to October from 2 PM to 5 PM.
