Forest and Meadow Hike with a 3-Course Autumn Menu

Autumn hike as part of the Forest and Meadow Week with Traufgänge Scout Edgar Alber, followed by a 3-course autumn menu at the Traufgänge host Traufganghütte Brunnental. The annual Forest and Meadow Week will take place from October 12 to 19, 2025. In addition to culinary autumn delights offered by the Traufgänge hosts, there will also be a special themed hike: Autumn is arriving on the Swabian Jura. Traufgänge Scout Edgar Alber will take you on a beautiful evening tour around Brunnental in Albstadt-Laufen. The hike will pass by the babbling Lauterbach towards Hossinger Leiter, along the Hossinger Way to Kübele Hans Halde, and back under Gräbelesberg to the Traufganghütte. Edgar has prepared several topics for you - from the construction history of the Traufganghütte to the castles of the Lords of Tierberg, the history of Kübele Hannes, and the Celts on Gräbelesberg. A colorful mix of history, anecdotes, and stories from the present. Let yourself be surprised! After the hike, we will head to the Traufganghütte Brunnental for a meal – you can choose between two delicious 3-course menus:

Menu with meat:
- Traufgänger’s pumpkin cream soup
- Hut goulash "Szegenider Art" made from Black Angus beef with Grandma's potato-mushroom terrine
- Hazelnut parfait with plum compote and sour cream

Vegetarian menu:
- Traufgänger’s pumpkin cream soup
- Homemade terrine of fine mushrooms and local potatoes with market vegetables
- Hazelnut parfait with plum compote and sour cream
