The Neckarwestheim Historical Circle brings the events of the Peasants' War to life in impressive scenes on the venerable grounds of the castle. 500 years ago, uprisings by the population dependent on the feudal system occurred in many regions. This rebellion of the "common man" was called the "Peasants' War." Our surroundings became, after the bloody Easter of Weinsberg, an area where developments gained momentum. Castle Liebenstein transforms into a vibrant stage of history. At various locations on the grounds, one encounters the spirit of resistance – brave peasants rise up against the authorities.
