Black Forest X-Trophy 2025 - Hike & Fly in Sasbachwalden

On September 27 or 28, 2025 (depending on the weather), it's that time again: the Black Forest X-Trophy is back for another round – and this year it will take place for the first time in Sasbachwalden. The hosts are the "Borkies," who are providing us with their grounds. Registration will open in June 2025. The Black Forest X-Trophy was established in 2020 and has since become a special highlight in the Black Forest. It is not a classic competition, but rather a communal Hike & Fly event, where camaraderie, nature experiences, and the joy of paragliding are at the forefront. The idea is as simple as it is fascinating: together, participants hike up a starting mountain – either on a leisurely or sporty route. From there, the pilots fly to a designated landing spot. The winner is not necessarily the fastest person, but rather the one whose time is closest to the average of all participants. This creates a sporty yet relaxed day that is enjoyable for everyone – from experienced cross-country pilots to hobby pilots – and brings together the local flying community. Since the Black Forest X-Trophy is organized on a voluntary basis and without commercial interests, we appreciate any support.
