19th Buchholz Wine Hike on October 3, 2025

Open Wine Hike of the Buchholzer Winemakers along the Wine Educational Trail with four wine stations in the vineyards – always on October 3rd, on German Unity Day. There will also be a guided hike. a) Open Culinary Wine Hike from 12 PM to 6 PM. Everyone can choose their own route and time, enjoying nature and the wonderful views along the way. The starting and ending point can be the town center at the local administration (close to the S-Bahn station). Information boards about Buchholzer viticulture, grape varieties, and winemaking will be placed along the Wine Educational Trail. Three Buchholzer wineries and the Buchholz/Sexau wine cooperative will offer their wines at four stations. There will be two food stalls along the route. b) Guided Wine Hike at 1 PM. A guided, paid wine hike will be offered at 1 PM, meeting point at the local administration; no registration required. The duration of the tour is about four hours.
