State Youth Orchestra of Baden-Württemberg - Autumn Tour 2025

With Christoph Altstaedt (conductor), Amerie Schlösser (harp), and Elena La-Deur (flute). The program features Mozart: Concerto for Flute, Harp, and Orchestra in C Major KV 299 and Bruckner: Symphony No. 4 in E-flat Major, WAB 104 "Romantic." From November 1 to 11, 2025, the Baden-Württemberg State Youth Orchestra, together with conductor Christoph Altstaedt and the two soloists Amerie Schlösser (harp) and Elena La-Deur (flute) – both first prize winners of the German Music Competition – will embark on a fall tour in 2025. Since 1972, the Baden-Württemberg State Youth Orchestra has been captivating audiences and critics alike with youthful enthusiasm, compelling interpretations, and high artistic quality. As a selection orchestra, the LJO brings together the best musical talents from the state, aged between 13 and 20 years, and is one of the most significant initiatives for promoting musical excellence at the state level. Twice a year, young musicians from all parts of Baden-Württemberg come together to rehearse demanding works of orchestral literature with internationally renowned conductors and soloists, and to present their joint efforts to a wide audience during the subsequent concert tour.
