Visitation Service Seminar

The seminar with Pastor Winter is aimed at staff in the visitation service and interested parties: What do those being visited expect? When are a few friendly words enough, and when should one delve deeper into conversation? Uncertainties, questions, and expectations will also be discussed. Birthday or hospital visits lead to different conversations than delivering the church newsletter: sometimes it’s an encounter at the garden fence, other times one finds themselves at the table with the visitors, surrounded by other guests. What do the visitors expect from us? When are a few friendly and interested sentences sufficient, and when do we go "deeper"? The Evangelical City Church invites long-standing and new staff in the visitation service, as well as interested parties, to an afternoon that strengthens this service. We will take time to sort our own expectations, share our experiences, and speak openly about uncertainties and questions.
