The Holzen Arts and Crafts Market, now taking place for the 41st time on the first weekend of October, is well-known far beyond the borders of the stork village. The market's special flair comes from the artisans spread throughout the streets and courtyards, local vendors offering agricultural products, and the various culinary offerings. This year, nearly 70 exhibitors are expected to showcase their craftsmanship and creative works. As in previous years, a wide range of authentic crafts, combined with artistic elements, awaits many interested visitors. Skillfully and lovingly made everyday items, decorative objects, and adornments are presented, crafted from a variety of materials. The colorful diversity of ceramics, jewelry, clothing, woodwork, painting, photography, cards, and textile art defines the market in Holzen. Baskets, floral arrangements, sculptures, and soaps will also be featured. There will be plenty to browse and discover, along with some new exhibitors joining the market in Holzen. It is also a tradition for the locals to offer their agricultural products such as bread, fruit, vegetables, jams, and even liqueurs at the market. There will also be a space for children and young people who wish to showcase their handmade creations.
